Design Goal
Inspired by the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep’s loyal customers, I wanted to showcase a design that was mean and rugged and not afraid to use splashes of color (and a little mud) on a darker theme.
Jeep brand owners have a passion for the brand. One of them summed it up, saying “When I die, I want to be buried in my Jeep. Because it’s never been in a hole it couldn’t get out of.”
I used Adobe XD to create a wireframe of the home page. I made use of components and repeat grids so that creating the wireframe is quick and painless. Next, I turned my wireframe into a full-color mockup. I added stock photos, real text, and I updated the fonts and colors to match the OEM branding. Once the mockup was completed, I moved onto building the website on our proprietary CMS platform.
