Project Overview
A small pool of social templates existed, but they were an almost unusable resource by the Social Media Manager due to a lack of styles and flexibility. Designer bandwidth was required but similarly limited as a result.
What’s the Problem?
Empower Non-designers! To liberate the creative process, we reduced bottlenecks by enabling seamless customization through an intuitive UI kit specific to social media, empowering even a non-designer to craft compelling social media assets.

Mission Lane
Simply put, this project was only made possible thanks to Whitney. In fact, it set the standard for all social templates I've worked with. She went above and beyond at each step - clarifying the project, working lightning fast, proactively improving technical nuances, and explaining how it all worked. Whitney quickly evolved the library to address needs in the moment like team awards and customer alerts. This project not only accomplished a great deal thanks to Whitney's vision - but it was also such a joy to work with her, and I would partner again in a heartbeat!
Goals
I collaborated closely with our Social Media Manager, Jason, to define the project’s main goals.

2.
Modularity and responsiveness
Seamlessly adaptable to hold different types of content, including quotes, images, videos, and more, and additionally have the ability to scale repsonsiveley for different size ratios.
3.
Empower the social media team with self-sufficiency in creating posts through guidelines, and streamlining customization without continual reliance on design team support.
Creative independence
